In this session, Denis Böhm and Benjamin Würz provide an overview of Microsoft Purview as a unified platform for data security, risk and compliance, and data governance. They share field experience and key learnings from customer projects, offering practical insights and real-world scenarios. A special focus is placed on the importance of starting with Information Rights Management (IRM) and the glueckkanja approach to quickly realize measurable value in data security initiatives. The session also explores how Purview enables organizations to detect, manage, and protect sensitive information across distributed and complex digital estates.

In this session, Daniel Rohregger and Benjamin Würz demonstrate how to prepare your data landscape for the use of Copilot and other generative AI services. Participants will learn how to identify potential data locations, explore which AI applications and services can access that data, and understand the challenges of oversharing and data travelling. The session also introduces the new Data Security Posture Management (DPSM) capabilities for AI.
